Hook, I know a lot of people will look at you and sneer at how you're 'giving up'. But when you look at it, they're the people who'd rather try in vain to support their guild at their members' dismay when the guild is better off dispersed. They're the people who will probably never match the courage and consideration that you've displayed (especially today) because of pride.
This is sad news, but at least we all know that it wasn't for selfish purposes. Sometimes, letting something go shows that you care for it deeply. You admitted the main problem and did your best to ensure that the
members benefit.
You've shown that you're an
excellent GM, not only because of the tough decisions that you've made to keep the guild thriving, but also because of your constant drive to serve the members, even if that means closing the guild. That's a Guildmaster's true goal, and you never strayed away from it.
And for that, my hat is off to you.
