1. I dont like Spirit ward, it does deflect someone who is tryin to heal you sometimes. I didnt get it because I have Hex on my gun. This basically stops gypsies and voodoo from workin once u drain them. So why need spirit ward when it works 2% of the time but my gun works 100 % of the time.
2. They help when ur in CQB (close quarter battle). Your crew, if u dont usually sail with one then I would highly suggest it, could use the boost once in a a while.
Thrust is good to have. It looks kinda cool. I wouldnt do more than just one dot to open it up. Its a powerful attack. The strongest on the combo shots if u use them.
