I played Sony's Star Wars Galaxies for 4 years and the quality was extremely poor, it started off well but then they grafted another system on top of the original (NGE) and reduced it to a fraction of it's former depth.
Updates took many months to come out and despite having a test server to iron out bugs they still let no end get through to the live update.
My all time favorite MMO company is Turbine who make Asheron's Call, updates every month without fail and bugs were dealt with fast.
