omg isaiah,

u must've forgotten, unless u lied about being the same isaiah that was ronin vengence with me eons ago... disney is clearly recycling previous ideas.
if u remember a LONG time ago, we could buy bright colored clothes, the old items just don't have the color of the cloths in the title when u hover over the item in the inventory. All I know is that my old brightly colored clothes is like the same exact shade as the new Bright colored looted clothes & so r my lavender clothes that used to be able to be brought in stores that are now only lootable. And blacks, lolol if anyone remembers, back when clothing merchants/tailors were first added to POTCO back in like spring 2008, if anybody brought clothes during that tiny gap window, we could BUY BLACK CLOTHES IN STORES (how is it that only I remember this???), this was around the time they gave out that first free bandanda. black clothes is not a new thing, for some silly reason they removed black clothes from stores & made only black clothes available during CreateAPirate, & then all the sudden our Starting Outfit's inventory choices got majorly decreased & made black items not available now, only lootable, totally lame.
Same thing goes with the Royal Chest Corset, I got that corset in a variety of colors (including black) for my various pirates' starting outfit, the only way you could get that colored was from the CreateAPirate screen which they have now removed, so impossible to get now.
Seems like Disney is secretly encouraging ppl to sell their "abandoned" pirates that own clothes that is unattainable nowadays.

Lag problems got worse then they were in beta, with my rig that I can run Age of Conan (the most heavy MMORPG) smoothly on it, I get bizarre lags on PotCO, why? Bad programming with a mediocre engine... Memory leaks are the biggest players on these laggy moments...
|
Disney is making itself look bad for hiring average game programmers/developers lol. Ya 1 game I play is way more graphically intense than POTCO & the game loads SO much more faster on loading screens than POTCO & not as much lag either.

The game is fun, but the quests are insanely repetitive and they take hours and hours to be finished, some skills like Take Cover from Sail, are really bad positioned, I mean, those are unbalanced and can give you lots of headache until you can get those essential skills for each skill-tree. Why the hell would I need the tacking speed before Take Cover?
|
lol ok, i think Take Cover is overrated & unless ur under fire of like 20 ships at the same time coz silly people on ur ship don't know when to stop attracting attention from ships, then its not that useful, i mean its useful if u love driving right up next to enemy ships & kiss them hoping u got a good crew to sink the enemy ship before u take too much damage (idk why like 99% of random ppl i encounter sail this way??? makes no sense to me), then u prolly spam Take Cover a lot & think its the bestest thing in the world. i don't think it's used that much (other than previous said ppl) & disney prolly planned it being some sort of an "award" for lvling sailing that high, kinda like how mastered pirates don't get groggy anymore. I looooove tacking, if u knew how to utilize that skill, u could dodge so many cannonballs being fired at ur ship coz u can spin ur ship so much faster, but if u only have like 1 pt on it, its pretty useless.

Ive also noticed many glitches with the fighting system, like the Blade Storm, or whatever it is called, my attacks should give around 700 dmg based on the numbers coming up from the dmg counter, but the health bar on enemies drops the same amount as I had given 400 dmg, I mean, wth?
|
base damage is just an average number, & that average only works for enemies the same lvl as u, higher lvl enemies have higher amount of hit points. sure 50% of their bar goes down but their total hit points/health points whatever probably were way different. 1 prolly had 1600 total hp, the other prolly only had 1200 hp?
