lol don't get hit before teleporting off an island.. This is one of the main things that causes this. Little sand crab hits you with dizzy but teleporting off makes it not fade off.
Can happen at random too.
one workaround that seams to work 25% of the time is pull out your pistol and reload your lead shot. <--No idea why this works but seams to work only sometimes.
Other than that its a relog. Its a shame but not isolated. We feel your pain.
