And on the sixth day...
Part one in the Resurrection Saga
A man walked the streets of Tortuga as if he'd just woken up from the grave(which, Ironically, he had.) He wasn't sure what he was looking for quite yet, his shifty eyes looking around the pirate ridden streets.
I need a drink... Thought the man.
Still stumbling, in no position to be drinking, he fell into the doors of a well known tavern. He didn't remember how he knew this, just bits and pieces of his old crew meeting here for celebrations... that is, before it split apart.
All thanks to Swordbones... but he's long dead now.
This man, of all people, should know that death isn't the end; it's a setback. But his head was clouded.
Walking into the dimly-lit, loud and rather crowded tavern, he went up to the bartender and ordered a bit of some Black Heart rum, his favorite since the stuff he used to steal off of his mates.
The bartender just stared at him, wide-eyed.
"You deaf, mate? Black Heart. Now" Said the man.
The bartender hurriedly walked away.
The man turned to the crowd, see if he could get some information off of the locals. As he walked towards the mass of pirates, talking, joking, splitting the loot from their latest plunder, they turned to look at the Man.
The room went silent. This left the man rather confused.
One of them pointed and whispered to his captain, "
look... cap'n, look... its him."
The large captain turned to look at the Man.
"...How the hell...?"
The man was now very confused. Why were these men so interested in him? Scared, even? In his cloud of thought, he tripped, landing right at the captains feet.
"Get up, dog." said the captain.
the man looked up. His eyes went wide.
"...Del?" said the man.
"You, sir, are supposed to be dead... you
are dead!" Said Captain Delmaria Darkskull.
"Excuse me..?" Said the man.
"Don't play dumb with me, Jack. I saw you die, you traitor." Said Del.
"I don't..." Said Jack Sharkbane.
Then the bullets began flying.
