Just in time for December I have another sample up. Being around the same marching band most of my life, I've really kind of gotten the holiday musical blues, one might say. After all, you can only listen to the same melody of carols being played for so many years before it gets boring and monotonous. (I was never really fond of the song played to begin with, but the point stands.) That being the case I set forth to write a new one, and out came "Hark the Herald Angels March."
Interesting little tune, not much to say about it aside from it's not done... really, I didn't even have time to snip and fade out the end so you can tell where I'm not done working, parts start dropping and then it will just quit, leaving you with a long blank Quicktime bar playing.
In other news, I am still working on the Dreamscape movement's I have sampled on my page. Just gotten a bit of musician writer's block there, and cannot for the life of me decide where to go with that right now. Maybe sometime before the new year.
