Hmpf, surprised I never saw this thread before. But, here's my input:

I would never let size determine how many Officers and Veterans you have in your guild. You just need to make sure that every single Officer and Veteran you promote, you would be willing to hand down the entire guild to their responsibility, without hesitation. The hierarchy and members of my guild know all too well - the road to Officership in our guild takes at least around a year. I take as much time as possible to look over every single aspect of that member - what they like, what they don't like, how they act, how responsible they are - and with that kind of care, I will guarentee you that you will, in no time, have one of the best circles around you in the entire Caribbean

I realize, of course, this would be difficult for such a large guild as yours, while PNC only has 123 at the moment. But I would at least try to have your Officers attempt to keep track of the members in your abscence. After all, your Officers/Veterans should be the kind of people you'd trust your life with.

I really try to never boot inactive members, but in your case, with your guild peaking at the limit, what has to be done may have to be done. Just try to make sure the other person understands your reasoning.

Same for demotion. Whenever we are forced to demote somebody due to inactivity, I'll always send them a PM explaining why, nothing personal, etc. etc., and suggest to them to head back in game to reprove themselves. Just remember, don't demote somebody if they take a reasonable, announced leave - that's just not right, savvy?

Lastly, I'll address two things:

1. If you mean subscribing as in getting an official, neato signature spot or something else, just follow the link on the home page that deals with Donations.

2. If your trying to get a sub forum for your guild... may the force be with you.

Getting a subforum is a long, long, LONG process, requiring lots of preparation. It takes a lot of cooperation and time on your guild's part. However, I have no doubt you can accomplish it - just ask ole Del if you need any pointers on it?

If ya need anything else, please ask

Happy pirating!
