Falling In Reverse

Falling In Reverse
Pirate Guild 730133
Note: Read the whole post.

After having experience of being Co-GM of several guilds, and officer in others, I decided to try running my own guild with a few friends. The Almighty Clan was recently closed due to personal reasons, and now, shortly after the occurrence, I am guild master of the guild “Falling In Reverse.”
I chose to create the guild because of the many memories I had of being in The Almighty Clan, from the recruiting to the new friends I had made, to the guild contest. With a guild comes friendships and adventure, ups and downs. I usually don’t have the patience to be a guild master. I can’t do these things by myself, most of the time. Within a few short hours of creating the guild, I had gotten a few trusted friends to join on smaller characters, or one of their main characters.
Many guilds focus on the quantity of members they have, and it is unfortunate that many people judge guilds on the quantity of members. It is quality that makes a good guild, not quantity. In guilds I have made before, I just focused on size. Recruited anyone. Had no rules.
But now, however, I have better experience, I know what kind of things to expect from members and potential leaders, and I have the patience to calmly resolve the conflicts that happen in the journey of running a guild. And I have to use that same patience to build the guild as well. Rome was not built in a day.
And with that, I now am pleased to announce, Falling in Reverse is now recruiting. Read ahead for rules and guidelines, and other important info!! J
( Many of our members are old pirates of The Almighty Clan, or their baby characters. )

Officer List:
Sarah McKidd (GM) (Slouyx on POF)
Gracelyn Donnybrook (Officer)
Cheese The Worst (Officer) ( Toy The Ranker on POF)
Allison Diamond Eyes (Officer)
Sarah Crestshot (Officer) (Crestshot on POF)
Roadninja (Officer) (Datgd on POF)
Mikaela (Veteran)
Johnny Burnmonger (Veteran)
Swashbuckler (Veteran)
Basil Firesteel (Veteran) (Jack Firesteel on POF)
Swashbuckler (Veteran) (Isaiah Ropeswine on POF)

Code Of Conduct:
- Follow Disney’s terms of use and house rules!
- Respect all pirates, including your guild mates!
- Please use your common sense. If you think someone will be hurt from your actions, don’t do them.
- What the guild master or officer says, goes.
- Please, do not ask for officership. ( See “Becoming An Officer/Veteran”)
- No starting drama of any kind to other guilds, or within the guild itself. If you have a problem with a member in the guild, or a conflict with someone in another guild, talk to an officer or the guild master herself.
- If someone is harassing you, teleport away from the person.
- Please try to stay semi-active. We know during the school year that it is hard to come online, but try not to disappear for weeks on end.
- If you decide to leave, we ask that you try to put a baby character in the guild. In the case that you decide you want to come back, we’ll know you were with us before and will guild you again.
- We value all members equally. If a fellow member tells you to stop doing something because it is making them uncomfortable, then please stop.
- Ask before teleporting, please! You may not like where you end up!
- (The GM and Co-GM reserve the right to teleport without asking.)
- No glitching that helps you advance through the game of any kind.
- If no one responds to you, that does not mean you are being ignored. People could be AFK or just busy.
- If you have suggestions for our Code Of Conduct, then please suggest them to an officer or the guild master herself. We ask that you agree to all of the code before joining. If you do not agree with our rules and guidelines, I am afraid we are unable to guild you.

Officers Code Of Conduct:
- Talk to another officer before booting a member. If no officer is online, then warn the member about their behavior. After that, if they continue, then warn them about their status in our guild, and that the guild master and other officers will know about it.
- Officers are not allowed to boot veterans. If a veteran is causing a problem, talk to the guild master. They will most likely be warned of their status, and if they continue to violate our Code Of Conduct, be demoted for a period of time.
- Officers who do not follow the Code Of Conduct may be demoted to veteran for a period of time.
- If you are an officer, please do not leave the guild without putting a baby character in the guild. You become an officer because you are a highly trusted member, and we think that you are capable of being one. If for some reason you need to leave, put in a baby character, or contact the guild master if possible.
- Officers may suggest new veterans, and new officers.
- Officers may call meetings if they need to.
- Members are not allowed to call meetings.
- Your main job is to be crowd control for the guild, and help recruit members.
- Before recruiting a member, tell them the rules, and have them agree to the rules.
- If you choose to put your other character in the guild at the same time as your officer character, that character will be a veteran, unless for some reason you cannot access your officer character.

Veteran’s Code Of Conduct:
- As a veteran, you are able to invite members to our guild. Your other main job is to enforce our rules.
- If a member is violating our Code Of Conduct, then please talk to an officer. Feel free to warn the member of their status.
- When recruiting, you must tell the member the rules, and have them agree, and warn them what happens if they violate our rules and guidelines.
- Veterans cannot call meetings, but if they think a meeting is needed, then may tell an officer or the guild master.
- Being a veteran, means we think you are capable of the job. Please do not leave the guild without putting it a baby character or contacting the guild master. It puts a lot of stress on the guild master to have a highly trusted member leave.
- Veterans may suggest new veterans or officers to the guild master.
- Veterans who violate our Code of Conduct may be demoted for a period of time.

Becoming An Officer/Veteran

- There is no asking for promotions.

- One should not join the guild with the sole reason of becoming a veteran or officer.
-Getting a promotion is based upon:
- Your leadership skills
- Your time in guild
- Your capability of the job
- Your activeness
- Your readiness to support the guild
- Are you an active player?
- You have to prove yourself. Are you capable of being an officer or veteran? Do you know what it takes? Will you leave the guild?

Recruiting:
- We accept all members, however, being a basic, under lv 10, and we have no knowledge of you on the game, is not the best way to get in, unless we know you have a higher level character.
- We will clean out inactives when the time comes.
- As an officer or veteran, please try to recruit actively! Ask friends to join, and things like that.
- We’re looking for active or semi-active players or potential officers/veterans.

Q/A:
Can I be an officer?
No, do not ask to be an officer, you earn it
Does this guild serve any purposes (SVS, PVP, Etc)
No, we are a small, family guild

If you are interested in joining us, or putting a baby character into our guild, then leave a post here! We’re a family, and we welcome all! J
Note: The size of the guild is not what matters to me. What truly makes me happy is an active, and happy guild. On this thread, we will be posting current news/updates for our guild.

Current News:
Currently at 23 members! Thanks for all the help I received from my friends. We’ll start recruiting heavily soon =) We’re looking for active players who could serve as officers. Many officers now are inactive.
