This movie is going to be great because it takes a new direction since the previous trilogy. People all across the world did not INITIALLY like the third one. Neither did I. The third one has a good repeat-viewing quality which is one thing AWESOME about it. You ca see it again and again to configure through the complexities of the plot. But this 4th movie will probably revive the magic of PotC for FIRST-TIME viewers, or people who want to give the series a second chance. I hope it plays a precursor to a new trilogy.

Finally someone who agrees with me that it will be great. I agree completely with everything you said.
Although I might miss Elizabeth and Will, there would be no point having them in this movie.
Plus new characters are added and it's nice to see the movies going in a different direction.

I am super excited to see it - especially to see how mean Blackbeard will be...he might be a new favorite of mine.
