1. There is nothing to access. It is just quest treasure like Rudyard's teeth or the Nine Paintings. It simply fills up a spot in your Sea Chest.
2. You are allowed to transfer 1000 gold pieces a day. After that you get that "could not be transferred at this time" message. Also, you can transfer just one of each item. If you try to transfer a second item of something you get the same message.
3. COTD is actually kind of dead. Good question though. I really think it was meant to be more than it is but it just had to take a backseat to the game and budget concerns and whatever else...
