East probably refers to the Middle East of out planet (Arabia, etc.) which explains the name "Abu Nar Clan". Perhaps they will play a future role in introducing scimitars to the game?. But this has got me thinking that PotCo is being converted into Assassin's Creed or Prince of Persia LOL.
