I've had this problem too, ALOT.
I think it would be better if just like the request to join a crew, a guild or be a friend you had the choice to accept or decline someone coming to see you.
But since that is not an option, I maroon them and remove them from my friends list. Doesnt help if they're in your guild but it's a solution if they're not.
