This is what happens when Disney installs a weapons drop system into an already existing weapons upgrade system involving quests.
You were probably doing the level 15 weapons quests? But, since you have been getting weapons in drops, you might already have better weapons in your inventory.
Disney just didn't think this out properly when they implemented the El Patron lost weapons, or the drop system.
I've said it before. They took away the standard method of gaining gold or a lot of the quests, and made EVERYTHING a drop! I used to get gold from every single enemy I would defeat, no matter what level or how many at a single time. Now, I take out the 7 Navy on the parade grounds, and I MAY get one drop from one of them, and I MAY get 5 to 10 gold.
Think of it this way, you did the quests to have something to do, and for the rep, not the weapons. Then, you got a few extra gold pieces from selling the junk weapons immediately after you finished the quests.
This is just another example of Disney developers NOT THINKING about what they are implementing!
