I think they should only be for a limited time. There's only so much Disney can do with these before pirates get bored. Quite a few already are with the invasions. Besides, to me it seems like it's a progression on the game, so they have to be temporary. Otherwise, we'd be stuck doing this for a long long time and we wouldn't go any further
