Whoever rewrote the voodoo staff quest, clearly hates POTCO. They took away "sailing to every island" - which is highly relevant to the game - and replaced it with tormenta enemies - highly inappropriate for tiny level 30 pirates.
To do the same to the cutlass quest, would be an additional travesty.
