As a word of advise you may want to have a rank inbetween Member and Officer. We do this in the ETC to give us time to evaluate up and coming members. They recieve a code that allows them to recruit members but they are responsible for those members they bring in. We call it Petty Officer. It gives you a chance to see how a pirate handles leadership roles and responsibilty before giving them full officer powers in your guild.
