I doubt this is the problem, but did you try checking your task list to make sure that the program closed all the way? I know sometimes Pirates has exited on me, and I went to click the launcher only for nothing to show up. I just bring up task manager, click processes, then close Launcher1.exe. Hope that helps, if not, someone else may know
