I sat around and watched all three videos that popped up on that page. Twice. Ya, pretty sure that's Beckett.
The game trailer does not look like in game to me at all. Dunno if that's how pirates used to look but they look sorta, rounded I guess? animated? Less refined than we look now. I did notice something else though. Beckett isn't the only one in that game trailer. Look again and you also see Davy Jones. In game. Barbossa, not in his grotto. Shades of things to come?
As games go POTCO is actually pretty young. LOTR Online is several years older I believe. Toontown definitely is. I think maybe what we see in that game trailer video with Beckett, Davy Jones, Barbossa wandering around, an the current scourge of Jolly Roger is what they want the game to be. I think what they put in those is the ideal of the game. Just enough working animation to give a glimpse of what they've been planning all along. But it's all speculation for now. We just have to wait and see.
