Thanks for the info, Vangelis. I didn't know it was a ten level difference either way.
I think the difference with the crab on Driftwood is that it doesn't attack you when you're in the water. Kind of like the Grunt in Fort Charles that doesn't attack you if you keep him up on the gallows, regardless of your level. I used both of those enemies in my lower levels to get big chunks of rep points.
The enemies that are 10+ lower level than you do attack you, they just never hit you.
