Toontown and POTCO are both games that you have to pay for (well I suppose you don't have to pay for them if you only want to do the very, very, basic parts of the game) while VMK is completely free. If I saw a commercial on tv for VMK I would be
very surprised (unless they decided to make you pay for VMK).
For VMK there'd be plenty to advertise. In fact, they already advertise the game (in the parks, at one point te game was advertised on Keloggs cereal as well in Disney Adventures Magazine... how else would they get players?). Just not on tv. Every game has their downsides, but it'd be the people who are putting together the advertising campaign to make sure that all of the good qualities of the game are highlighted.
Anyway, I think I've seen a commercial for POTCO once or twice. I'm sure that we'll be seeing a lot more commercials for the game fairly soon.
