It's time for the mania to begin again...

Time for the Third Dueces Wild Scavenger Hunt!

Participants: Dueces Wild Guild members only.

When: Wednesday, June 17th and June 24th. Approximately 7 pm Central.

Preparation:
Each team/crew must consist of 4 pirates. In each team, there must be at least one pirate level 20 or less, and one pirate at least level 34 or higher. The other 2 pirates can be any level. Each team should have at least one member who was not a DW member when we had the last Scavenger hunt.

Teams must be formed and registered here. Post team member names, prior to the posting of the Scavenger list.

Chat:
Each team should use crew chat for all in team discussions, and use guild chat to chide, mislead, and generally harangue other teams.

Of course, there is also the chaos of the Vent server.

I will be unable to talk with you on Vent.. so don't ask me any questions. All chat from me will be on Guild Chat.



The rules: (as borrowed and butchered from the previous hunt rules)

1) Absolutely NO using glitches to cheat (ie macros)! Anyone caught immediately gets their entire team disqualified! (Exception: I don't care if you pass through a wall to get somewhere.)
2) Absolutely no outside of guild help! (For new members.. that means no having friends out of the guild helping you search or giving you answers to questions)
If anyone is caught getting outside help, their entire team will be disqualified.
3) I have rearranged some of the hunt (actually decreased some of the screenshot requirements). Screenshots will be required as usual. Pay attention to the rules for each night. Some will require all 4 members of the team to be visible. Crew HUD/bonus always required. Some shots will need to be taken by each individual.. but not as many as I originally planned. Submit all screenshots by the deadline.
4) There will be portions of the hunt that just require written answers. Answers must be PM'd to me before the deadline. Any postings after then will not count as a completed task.
5) No swapping pirates during the course of the event. You must play with the pirate that is registered in your crew here in the thread.
6) I will post the team scores as soon as possible after the Scavenger Hunt. Cut me some slack as this is my first time organizing or tallying this stuff. I promise I'm going to be thorough and fair. Having stated the that, please remember that I am the scorekeeper. My decisions are final. Any debate and I'm taking away your rum. Any serious flack and I start deducting points.


Strategy:
1) Pay attention to screenshot requirements. Designate someone to be the primary photographer for group shots.
2) Some screenies will be individual screenshots. Post em on time.
5) I will be in-game to monitor for difficulties and disconnection.
6) You can change servers all you want, but Kelly will be on PDF on a quiet server when she logs in.
8) Again there is no official "End" time to each evening.
9) Allow time to post the results!!


Prizes
1) 5K in gold to each member of the winning team.
2) Bragging rights!
3) The ability to berate the losing teams.
4) Experiencing the camaraderie and support of your fellow OCD friends.
4) Satisfaction.. if this goes the way I hope.

If you would like to just post your name, I will keep a running list of who is intending to participate here on this posting. You can visit here and then meet with other guildies in game to form a team.

List your pirate name, and their current notoriety level and if you are new to the guild since the last scavenger hunt.

Rules and date may be modified slightly between now and the date of the Scavenger Hunt, so check back before the beginning of the contest.
