Loving the idea of guild towns.. But towns just don't feel piratey enough.. How about a guild ship? Like one that's size (class) depends on guild size.. There can be different areas of the ship too. For instance, the Mess hall (like a tavern) Cabins, Jail (brig), captain's quarters, cannon area (for battles) etc. So instead of defending a village it would be your ship. You could fly your own customized guild flag.. And the ships that we own individually could be part of the "fleet"..Each guild member would fly their guild flag so others would know what fleet they belonged to.. The guild ship (the main one) would only be driven by the GM, but the Gm could assign permission to certain officers to drive as well.

Battles could be had between other guild ships, Boss Battles, Boss ships etc. When the ship is not being driven, It would remain "in port" at the GMs preferred location... tp access would be available.. Non guild members could come aboard to visit with officer/GM permission.. similar to the current permission options..but if an officer or GM wants to, they can send em to the brig ... Of course they could tp out of the brig.. Just not back to the ship (unless reinvited). That way you can role play a little if you want. This would allow a stronger guild environment while still remaining piratey. The GM could also customize it

Now THAT would be cool SOrry if it's a little jumbled.. I just wrote what came to me mind.. lol
That sounds great. But, for those that prefer the land, why not a guild shack or tavern? U can go upstairs, and there'd be like a storage room, meeting halls, ammo storage areas.
