This post is to be used for ideas of some of the stuff above:

The Weapons
The Iron Parrying Blade (sold item, level 6) - deals 10% less damage than a regular cutlass, but Parry has more effect (3% chance per point).
The Steel Parrying Blade (sold item, level 11) - deals 10% less damage than a regular cutlass, but Parry has more effect (4% per point).
The Fine Parrying Blade (quested item, level 16) - deals 15% less damage than a regular cutlass, but Parry has more effect (5% per point)
The Pirate Parrying Blade (quested item, level 21) - deals 15% less damage than a regular cutlass, but Parry has more effect (6% per point)

The Bev Staff (Staff alternate, quest available with a 22 Staff): This weapon has faster charging spells than the regular staff and is thus better equipped vs. the dagger, for a plus; as another plus, each spell provides some sort of guard; on the downside, each spell takes up a more than reasonable amount of voodoo, for a considerably lesser amount of damage--however, the stock equivalent of Blast does more damage
Shock--0 voodoo, similar to Blast except it attacks all around; deals more damage as it will probably be used more often (Bev spells take much more voodoo and charge alot faster, so as to stack the effect of the spells and remove the threat of pistols and daggers from interrupting)
Voodoo Domain--?? voodoo, attacks all around (-); breaks and prevents attunements for 10 seconds
Focus Domain--?? voodoo, attacks all around (-); breaks and prevents slowing and stunning for 10 seconds
Vitality Domain--??? voodoo, attacks all around (-); prevents attacks from doing critical damage for 10 seconds

The passives are otherwise the same as for all alternates. You gain levels in practice/apprentice missions supplied by Romany Bev.

The Skills
Lunge (skill unlocked with a level 25 Cutlass, similar to Leadership in application):

Assist (skill unlocked with a level 25 Doll, similar to Leadership in application): 60 voodoo - Transfers voodoo from you to other pirates (game description). This lowers your voodoo by 60, and spreads 60 voodoo to all attuned (60 is divisible by 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5).

Sneak (skill unlocked with 25 Dagger, similar to Leadership in application): Enemies attacked from the back are stunned (game description). Slow times inflicted from the dagger become stun times when inflicted on a backstrike. As well, you vanish from the compass of enemy pirates in PvP.
