Don't know if ye know, but there's a couple of interesting things out there that ye can do in order to conserve some space on yer pirates Hearties (friends) list, and yet continue to be able to chat and whisper. Read on if interested....

First off, EVERY POTCO player automatically has a DXD account--that means ye can go to the DXD site and login and check rankings and what not. Okay--we all know this already, right?

So, didja know that if ye friend a DXD account via DXD that ALL of the friended account-holder's pirates will now be on yer friends list? Yepper, that's right. So what that means is, if ye friend a pirate in-game, ye friend just that one pirate. However, if ye make the same friend on DXD yer now friends with ALL of that player's asscoiated pirates.

Oh, ye knew that too, huh? Okay...

Didja know that when ye friend on DXD and ye get a friendship with all that player's pirates too--AND they only take up one space in yer hearties list?

Ye did, huh? okay. Then here's the coup de grace....

So ye noticed ye were having problems WHISPERING to DXD friends, now dintja? Ye try to whisper to say, oh, Combat Lizzy (one of my DXD friends) and she doesn't get the whisper. So then we hear "DXD friends can't whisper to each other." Okay--gonna help ye out RIGJHT NOW

Yer on OPEN CHAT IF YE CAN'T WHISPER BACK AND FORTH! HAR! Just whisper like normal, except before ye actually get to sending the little whisper, make sure ye click the little box next to the skull in the chat window. When ye have the plus--ye can chat! Good as new!

Hope this helps those what were gettin' frustrated with DXD friends not being able to chat.

Aye-every player is required to make a DXD account, but not everyone takes the time to set it up, they just create a d-name and leave, and never go back
Aye again-When you friends someone on DXD, you have basically friended their whole account.
But did you know this?:
Suppose accounts are linked? That means EVERY LINKED ACCOUNT HAS TO HAVE A DXD ACCOUNT!
Like for instance, my d-name is pirateonweekends, I have one account linked to that one, we'll call that account Account 1

Now, anytime I log in with Account 1, anyone who is my DXD friend in the game will see pirateonweekends has come online

Now keep in mind, I have 4 people that are linked to me (one for parental control)
If you log in on any other then Account 1, it wont say pirateonweekends has come online

All of the other 4 accounts would have to make their own DXD account..See what I mean?
