The teleportation quest will appear in your journal when you get to be a certain level. At least that is how it happened for me. The tasks are not that hard, but it is always nice to have a friend along with you. The voodoo quest also appeared in mine. You have to visit Tia in Cuba and she gives you a lengthy list of things you need to make the doll. The doll is a great thing as it can heal others when you get to a certain level on it! It also will cast spells on the enemies. There are lots of fly traps on Cuba near Tia. Again, take a friend, as these are pretty large enemies!
