For cannons I find myself heading out past PDF and attracting phantoms and cannoning them down on their way in. Something I can do pretty much on my own with having another friend/sailor at the helm. Remember.. they 'almost' always turn left..  |
Last time I checked both live and test server, shooting head on a skellie ship with its sails down, galleon did much better. Even less broadsides and more rep. This is to gain rep, not how fast to sink it, so also at furthest out distance you can reach with broadsides.
With this same ship I could also sink eitc war frigates from the side and open fire in one hit many times.
