The
shudder <marquee> tag is supported under Firefox, Safari, Opera, and Chrome for legacy purposes.
Along the same lines, the
shudder <blink> tag is not supported in Internet Explorer, though the same effect can be achieved using CSS. I wouldn't recommend that one either way as it could be detrimental for people who have issues with the screen flickering such as those with epilepsy.
