Reset your DXD settings?
 

Is there ANY possible way to reset your DXD settings? I want OPEN CHAT! Not Unlimited True Friends only!!!

Why don't you log into your DXD options and change your chat preferences?

The chat preferences for POTCO are specific to the game at present. There are options that can be set for your account to manage chat. As far as I know the DXD chat prefernces do not allow for open chat or at least they did not last time I checked.

Remeber also that if u just recently started playing u are testing the free version of the game and it will never support open chat according to the Dev's The way u can tell if when the program open see if on top of your pirates names u see unlinted access or something else

It use to be. But if you go to your account settings on the POTCO beta site, they will direct you to the Disney DXD site and to check the My Accounts area, if you want to change your chat preferences.

I tried! Create a sub account button is NOT there!

:confused: Why are you wanting to create a sub account? Edit your existing account and change the chat preferences.

I cannot switch back to open chat, so i need a new sub account thing. I even followed the guide that someone sent me. And no luck.

The "Chat with and Disney Member" option is not currently available. We just have to stick with unlimited true friends for now.

seems wierd, heard another player got a response from support that they are testing chat, so some people dont have it?

but one thing forsure, dont click the box, hit ENTER, then type. that may help some of you.

Do you need DXD for POTCO?

Try this to fix your chat.... it has worked for others.

Steps to follow:
1. FIRST LOGIN HERE http://apps.pirates.go.com/pirates
(You should get the Release Notes).

2. Click ACCOUNT at top of page
Enter your password (account name should be there)
Click LOG IN NOW

3. At the BOTTOM of the page click on "Member Guest Services"

4. Select "Update Account For ..."

5. Select OPEN CHAT

Krickit2, have you read the thread as yet? If not, please do, to see the problem CptBingo is having. Because what you posted has been suggested already.

Yes, I read the whole thread ( I generally do) It may be that I just misunderstood the problem. Sorry for trying to help.
