I know as an officer in the Krewe that we don't mind helping each other out when we can, it's what we do. It's what makes us a great guild. But sometimes a simple "thanks" in the chat window just doesn't seem enough. Especially since I know that sometimes we help pirates who aren't quite so gracious.

So I thought it might be nice to have a thread where we can thank a krewe member or other pirate for something they did, and also let everyone else know what an upstanding pirate they are!

So, I can't go back and mention all the times in the past that I have been graciously helped but today I wanted to give cudos to Molly Bluesilver for "donating" gold to my war ship fund during a game of poker at the Ratskellar. I will certainly reciprocate to another pirate should I ever find myself "maxed" out in coin. (may take a while, he he)!

Okay, now this is actually the first time I have ever started a thread (You guys know I am still such a newbie when it comes to this stuff) so, hope I did it right and put it in the right place. :pirate.capta:

I would also like to add a thank you to the Krewe....may not of really needed any help but I know you guys are always there if its needed ;) as am I if you ever need it :D

My first big thanks go out to Lizzy--my longest, dearest, and most trusted fellow pirate. Thanks Lizzy, because YOU are a big reason the Krewe is what it is.

And also, all of my officers deserve thanks for all the hard work and time spent running this guild while I'm away. But a special uber-thanks to Wolf and Li--you two have really taken a big step up and are driving this guild in the right direction. Never fear that you take action in the absence of orders--you are trusted and CHOSEN.

Finally, to all the Krewe--yer the finest bunch of piratin' rapscallions a freebooter could want to know. Keep up the good work! There's a commission fer anybody willing to take it that next step....

First i would like to thank Samule Sworddogger, for helping me lvl my staff,and for teaching me tricks on how to lvl,he is a great teacher! Also he is always a patient listener when I feel like venting. I think he is just so awesome.

The rest of y'all are so amazing.All of you are so open ,helpful and friendly, and I feel like we are a family.I totally enjoy talking,or pirating with everyone of you.

Right now this game is my much needed break from reality, and I am so thankful to be apart of BBK because it is such a tight knit group, and in it ,I feel at home.I honestlly feel like y'all are my friends.:buds:

Lastly Bart thank you so much for creating this guild.This guild has really brought me so much happiness!

Ye are all me friends for which I am very grateful. I am thankful for the day Bart found me in Cuba attempting to kill fly-traps without much success. We are all there for each other as much as possible. We all have our good days and bad days. Lizzy thanks everyone in the guild for sticking to Black Bart's creed and for making my time on POTCO so enjoyable. You have turned into me family...and a pirate will fight for his family. We experience our ups and downs just like any RL family. But in the end, we are strong as long as we stick together and respect each other and don't get caught up in alot of drama. BBK ROCKS!!!!!

I've not spent as much time on me little pirate in BBK as I'd like, but I will try to rectify that soon. All the peeps I have encountered have been friendly, helpful, and just over all cool to hang with. Thanks for letting little (Jean Luc) Picard Starshipper hang with you guys.

I would have to give thanks to almost everyone in BBK, because they have all helped me at one time or another. But my biggest thanks has to go to JK for bringing me into this mighty fine guild. I was a lost and lonely pirate when he found me.

And thank you to my crew last night that let me take the wheel for the first time in a BB. Lizzy, Char, Sven D, SOS, Simon, and Andrea. (of course we made toast of Goliath, I had a mighty fine crew):wheel:

For my thanks, I give ty to all of me fellow BBK officers for a fine job well done. Everyone works so well together and have fun doing so.

Ty to Lizzy, Char, Blue, and Sam for just being there to help a pirate out when RL gets her down (times like now). Ty for the support and understanding.

Ty to all BBK members who have endured what has now become know as the "Li Rants." Li doesn't do this often (or at lesst she dont thinks she does) but when the situtation calls for it (mailnly when new members dont follow the direction of the Krewe and trys to be bossy and demanding). Li just wants everyone to play nicely and help when they can.

TY Bart for allowing this pirate to be apart of such a fine guild as BBK. Ty for believing in the pirate and giving her a place to call her home.

Also a very special TY to all her friends at PIC for allowing Li Red to be herself. Sassy (aka. Savvy, Admiral), Ben, Ann, and Svenny Poo me biggest thanks to the four of you for just simply listening to this pirate when she is down and needs someone to talk to. You guys are truly great friends.

So there me thanks for all me beloved friends who lend an ear when this pirate needs to talk and let it all out.

Thank you Molly Hookhazzard for the kind words you are a joy to be around and always bring another level of fun to the game.
I had reached the wall with Sam without quests there isn’t much to do lvl, grind and help me fellow pirates. Last night after getting schooled in pvp with Sven Daggershot, Benjamin Ironbones and Charlotte Firemenace (arrrr, repeatedly) we parted ways Sven and Char retired for the night and Ben went to svs. I went to KH to work on staff and on the second round with the parade I unexpectedly hit lvl 20 Staff woot wooot and low and behold a new quest. Strait away I set out to have me some fun. The tasks started out easy capture and maroon, sink ships and acquire statues but then I was required to defeat Nuban and Remington. I looked at the clock 12:40 am my time I looked to me friends list and Ben showed he was sailing ah svs or is he asleep, I called out to Ben with no reply then I set out for Neban thinking one try and I’ll retire myself.
But to my amazement Ben chimes in and comes to my aid. With doll in hand Ben followed me to the platform under Nuban and I started to attack, failing to bring him down to me I went to him brandishing sword and dagger, Ben healing me all the time Nuban fell like Chevy Chase in a SNL sketch and I glowed mastering cutlass. Off to KH to challenge Remington, on arrival I see he is lvl 35 with Ben backing me up I attuned him to reveal 32500 health. Whirling blades and flaming staff brought Remington to a sliver of health a final bladestorm made him go down like the Goliath on a BBK BB. I could not have done it without you.
Thank you Ben I know you got my back and I appreciate you sticking with me so late err early in the morning.

Great thread idea, Mama! I myself would like to thank Charlotte Firemenece and Chris Trueshot who, like Molly did for Mama, helped me earn the rest of my needed money for my war galleon. Many thanks for that, mates.

I'd also like to thank the entire krewe for welcoming me in a few months back when I was just getting back into pirates and had no friends of my own.

What a refreshing post. Now that you mention that selfless act, it makes me think back to practically every time someone in the inner circle, the officers and pirates up and down the ranks gave to me and others at the drop of a hat. What a nice group of pirates. Perhaps this may be a little on the odd side of the character of pirating, but the code and mission of the BBK is what keeps me playing.

Personally I'm not going to list names save for one...because each and every one of you has in some way brought fun, friendship, laughter, hope, and a general great gaming experience into my life...from late night/early am leveling to plunder filled Guild cruises to just getting silly at the Skellar...

I am thankful to all of you for having the patience and understanding with me as I have to deal with work related issues which have kept me at bay for some time now...lately the scheme of things at work has changed somewhat dramatically but we're working through it all with corporate's help and understanding of our individual markets...and once settled we will be on a more practical and established path...whic in turn will permit me once more to pirate and plunder as the Wolf of old did before...

Other then that...my biggest thanks go out to Bart...for laying the groundwork, principles and ethics that this great Guild is built upon...you're like a stone mason who's laid the perfect foundation...structurally sound and able to withstand anything harsh thrown at it...you lead with a just and fair hand, you lead by example...you have done very well my friend so all I can say once more is thank you...thank you for BBK and thank you for continuing to serve and protect our way of life...God Bless

I couldn't have said it better myself.

As an outsider, I'd like to thank BBK for helping me in a dark hour when I thought it would be a bust. At the drop of a hat, the Krew's numbers showed up to save the day. The Krew's knowledge, explanations and encouraging words were a beautiful relief from more drama-laden guilds. As individuals, you all were great examples of what rowdy, yet fair, pirates should be like. So again, I'd like to thank you all.

It is a wonderful feeling to have sumone outside the BBK appreciate us. Thank you again for your Kudoes and kind words...Special thank you today for Sam S from Lizzy. Sam helped Lizzy reach level 24 on nades at KH...He drew in the parade and Lizzy leveled. He is one of the most patient pirates I know, and also a good friend. :buds:
