Some good and bad news..

Ok as you know, my computer wouldn't run pirates, well i got it fixed! So, that's the good news!
The bad news is, as some of you may know, right now I am signing up for advaced classes for high school next year. And that advanced stuff requires me to sign like a 10 page application thing, A big portfolio, an interview, and a whole bunch of other long things. On top of that, i have 2 giant projects!
So, what does that mean?
That means that for the next 3+ months, i'll be working on all of that, so i wont have much time for pirates. so im gonna be downgrading my account to basic. And i probably wont have much time to play until summer! It is alot of work and hope to be back soon. I'll stop in every once in awhile. As for BBK, im sorry that i wont be able to participate in upcoming events and stuff.
See ya!

Better to get school taken care of. POTCO can wait. (besides, there may be some new content by then ;) )

Study hard!

Education is the war galleon on the sea of life

Sarah is right!
But we will miss our fellow pirate and know how hard it is to give it up even temporarily.
Sarah is also right that the "winds of change" could be, should be, blowing soon for more pirating fun.
Oh and don't worry, time will pass quick enough.

I hear you mate: I have the same problem. (Though at the core my problem is due to laziness.)

Andrew 01-10-2009 05:36 AM

You all know my problem. High school leads to nothing but success! You will be welcomed with open arms when you come back, For now-crack open those books, and I wish you good luck!

In 20 years, what's going to make more of a difference in your life:

--You took AP classes and did well, getting you into a good college with some financial aid, or
--You played POTCO a lot?

You keep it up with the classes--I'll guarantee that you won't spend your twilight years wishing you had played more computer games.

Ghostcannon 01-13-2009 07:33 AM

Trueshot,
I wish you the best of luck and hope your missions are accomplished with success. As Mateys here, you will make us all proud once you complete that essential mission.

Dr. Zeppers 01-13-2009 09:26 AM

Trueshot, school is #1 - pirates is just that, a game. Go to school - learn to fix the game - them come back and fix it for us :D
