Guild Nameing

Ok i have tried about 100 variations of the name The 501st Legion and they keep getting rejected but for some reason i get this message

Anyone know what to do?

Well, if you try the name "501st Legion" and the name "o" comes up on the message, I'm guessing something is wrong, and I would contact Disney about that.
As for the name "501st Legion" being rejected, I'm guessing it might have something to do with being related to "Star Wars"? Not really sure, but when in doubt, contact Disney.

If I were to take a wild guess, I would say they do not like the guild name starting with number.

Maybe try "The 501st Legion", if you've tried that and received the aforementioned message, then im guessing they dont want numbers in the guild name at all, at least not more than 1. We do see thier system does strange things with filters when it comes to using various combinations of numbers. The responses you are getting seem to be programmed ones, and not rejections from disney's customer service.

It might be the fact that The 501st Legion is a registered name. They are a world wide real life organization. They do charities and stuff. They are the only Official Star Wars group. That might have something to do with your problem. Also check DXD for guilds under that name, They might not let same name guilds.

First thing to remember is not to enter too many variations of the name one after another, went through that when trying to get the BTTB name approved. Disney recommends waiting at least 48 hours between submissions. If you enter one after another you'll just keep getting the same rejected message over and over.

According to Disney, once a name is submitted it goes onto a list of names pending approval. Time it takes to be approved depends entirely on the amount of names on the list ahead of yours.

It's best to wait until you get a message when you log in that the name has been rejected before trying a new variation.

As for it being star wars i have seen other guilds with related to movies so this shouldnt be any different

As for numbers i have seen guilds with like Angels from 7743(which turned upside down spells 7743)

Grizz im gonna take your suggestion ill wait until sunday to submit the next name i have sent in like 5 in 2 days so...

Disney can get picky with using numbers in a guild name. I know a star wars guild named "Da Force" LOL
And for this:
http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/i...cs/whatthe.jpg

the "0" just means that was all they got, so aye, something had to go wrong there. Disney is also picky with Consecutive numbers..so you might have to talk to them in live chat or something

Some suggestions I have for new guild names would be:
Clone Wars
God Clones
The Guild Of Clones
Clone Masters
The Pirate Clones
The Clone Legion

If you dont think [B]Clone]/B] wouldnt be good for a guild name, then try these:
Matching Pairs
The Matching Pirates
Groups Of Matching
The Matching Mates

Thats all I got, if you want to give this a shot then you can, they might not-as Max pointed out before-Like the workd Clone. But maybe these names can give you some good ideas ;)

Maybe, for some reason, you aren't actually taking a name and the game, instead of having a space, has a '0' as what you've tried to submit. All I can say to do is something you're probably already doing: After you type in the name, try pressing enter, making sure the bar you type in disappears. As well, make sure another guild doesn't have the desired name. When The Wily Willies failed, I checked DxD and saw that no one else had a guild of that name. I resent it then just waited. And voila! I'm The Inestimable League of The Wily Willies!

Oh, and since were talking about the 501, you could also try using the nickname of the legion if The 501st is taken.

Thats what i was thinking is that they are only getting o O 0 not the name i requested which no duh they would disapprove its onyl 1 letter. I sent in a bug report hopefully this will be solved.

Davil 01-03-2009 04:16 AM

Why don't we just spell it wrong? Instead of 501st why not replace the zero with an O?It might work.

Chris 01-03-2009 04:29 AM

Hmm and that would break up the numbers.... great idea i might try that.
