I am holding a Wake for my first pirate, Francis Seahawk.

He's had a good pirating life.....plundering.....pillaging......taking down flagships. He's been a good pirate for me, laughing and loving the life a pirate leads every day he was on POTCO.

Unfortunately, he's reached the end his rope and he must now be shipped out for good. I want to send him out the way the Vikings did.

This Sunday at 12pm Central Time, Francis will launch his light sloop from Isla De La Avaricia. I'd appreciate all my POF friends being there to shoot their fire cannon shot to light his sloop up to take him to Valhalla.

Please launch from Ile D'Etable De Porc to help Francis reach Valhalla by shooting his Light Sloop with fire cannon shot.

I will be on the Spanish Island at 11:30 to meet up with you all.

This rocks - the first pirate funeral I've known of in POTCO! I'm in to give Francis the proper send-off that he so richly deserves!

I'd love to take part but that's an unfortunate date (for me at least). I'm heading up to (or I'll be staying in or headed back from) Philly then. I hope someone takes screenshots.

I hope you settled everything as inheritance goes and all: money does nothing for a dead pirate.

Oh, and yeah, it is a cool idea.

Firebrand only for the funeral pyre? A funeral fit for a king, says I! A well deserved honor for him. Will you have someone onboard with flaming skull to start it? Firebomb grenades?

That's a cool idea Rackat. I'll try to be there. My level 36 doesn't have firebrand, but I think my smaller pirate (Jack O'Malley) does so he may be the one to show up.

I'll try me best to make it, but if not, shoot one for me.

I'll be at the shipwright on Avaricia to start a crew. Hope to see you all there.

I will use crew chat to start the barrage.
