Fix for Server Connectivity Issues!
 

Yeah okay. first post, I needed to log in just to tell you guys.


It ISNT the routers firmware, rarely is. it isn't your location either.

Heres the triumphant and yet oddly easy fix. (For XP users for all I know, dunno if vista people have the cannot to connect to 7667 server thing)

Now I tested this on two different computers;

For some reason, one of POTCO's updates caused some sort of communication problem with Xp's service pack 2 and the security. And if you can't assume where I am going, here it is.

Upgrade to Service Pack 3. It's that simple.

I had the 'cannot connect to gameserver:7667' error for months now. As did my friend. We had no idea why it was no longer working until I updated to SP3 for a specific modern game that required it.

Low and behold, I tried it and it worked!!

So I don't know what they did to cause the problem but SP3 fixes it! Jeez... it ISNT the firmware, it ISNT your location.

I hope this helps everyone with this issue! Hell, sticky it if need be!
