I'm trying to recruit James Pidgely for the crew to go after the pearl. I am trying to find a list of ships for Pidgely and one part says to find the list in a storage container at Port Royal. The other part of the quest says to find the list in a desk at Ft. Charles but there isn't a desk there that I can find and none of the storage containers light up to search. Has anyone else done this that can help me find the list?

The room is directly across from the entrance to the fort, all the way on the other side. You will see a few pictures on the wall and something that looks more like a table rather than a desk. That's where you can find the list.

Hmm, I'm on that quest and all it said was that 'Nothing Interesting Here'

How long does it take before another one comes up?

This was posted when it was in Beta 1. It has changed in beta 2. The list is no longer at Fort Charles. Try the desk in the Thieves Den. It is surrounded by high lvl EITC soldiers. So bring some friends.

Yeah, I've been there too, before I've been to Fort Charles. Do you have to defeat one of the soldiers first?

Well, if you can try searching the desk while 2 high lvl EITC soldiers are wacking ya over the head....then no, you don't need to defeat them. :D

But it is pretty hard to avoid them for the few seconds you need to search the desk. So best to defeat them first.

Hmm, I'm stuck on this quest too. Where is Theives Den? I've heard of it alot, but I've never actually been to it.

I am also on this quest and just logout from Thieves Den, because it said nothing interesting here also. I have tried the desk, the barrel outside the building and the carate outside also. Nothing?!

if you're looking for "the list" from a desk in the EITC hideout you won't find it in thieves den. it's next to doc grog's shop in the village in tortuga. you should see the little sign for the doctor's place and then there's a door right to the left of it. once you get inside there's one medium level guard there you need to kill, then you can search the desk for the list.

I am seriosly giving bad advice here. This isn't the first time I directed persons to the wrong location. I must be getting old. :(

Well, the good news is you got some experience from killing those EITC's soldiers. :D
