4 Questions about Sailing
 

Hey everybody. I have a couple of questions I'm looking to get answered. You don't need to have an answer to each of them, answering one or more (up to you) would be perfectly acceptable :piratetongueor4:

1) How in the Caribbean do I make 40,000 gold for a War Galleon quickly at level 16 Notoriety, 11 sailing, 7 cutlass and vodoo, 2 cannon and dagger, and level 8 pistol?? I'm planning on getting level 15 sailing in the process and enough money for a regular galleon to hold more cargo. FYI, I already have a frigate and 1,000 gold....:laughks2:

2) Let's say I have 9/9 cargo on my frigate and I have 6 cargo crates and 3 treasure chests. If I sink another ship and get a Royal Chest, will that switch with one of my cargo crates or anything? If so, does the game automatically do that or do I have to manually do it? Another question built into this is: Can I drop cargo as in, sink a ship but choose not to get the cargo and/or drop cargo I've collected earlier during my voyage?

3) The skill "leadership" doesn't have any certain level required to unlock it according to the Skills page, so does that mean I can unlock it whenever I chose?

4) lol can I use "Ramming Speed" on a galleon? I see the thing on front of frigates so I know they can do it but can galleons?

Easiest way is to have a friend lose the gold to you at Poker. Failing that, Sail with a high level pirate that has points in the Gold. If you can't find someone to do either of those, then sail on your own until you get enough.

Sorry, what you get is what you get. After your hold is full, then next ship only says "Plunder" but you only get Rep points, no more gold.

You have to complete the Black Pearl quest, liberate the Black Pearl, then go see Jack on Tortuga to open that particular skill.

Yep, it does good damage too.

To make money fast, go to a busy server and board a "public" ship.

This doesnt work my friend.

Blackjack is only against the dealer, plus the amount of money is limited, you cannot keep raising.

The trick to passing gold via poker..

Recommend PDF first, higher limits.

Both sit down at table same time, make sure there are no other real players.

FIRST TWO HAND ONLY

Both raise first two rounds, AI's usually fold quickly, if they do not after two rounds, Call

Raise for two rounds again, more AIs usually fold, if they do not after two rounds, Call.

Usually the fold in the first 5-6 rounds. Once they all fold except you and your friend, keep raising until your friend has put as much in the pot as they are willing to give, then they FOLD, and you are all the richer.

If you do this two hands... both stand up, and sit down if you wish to do it again. The AI's start to hang in the game alot more after those first two hands.
