User Info Changes
 

1. Added field for "Additional Pirate's Information"
2. Added field for "Favorite Server"
3. Added field for "Additional Ships Information"
4. Added new field "Favorite POTCO Activity"
5. Added new field "Favorite Forum Activity"
6. Added a "Location" field that is a drop down menu of pre-set locations. Location field replaced on posts and user profiles.
7. Age removed from mini statistics on user profiles.
8. IMs removed from posts. Now only displays on user profiles since we can control who sees user profiles.

Many of these changes were done to increase security for our users personal information. Some were done due to constant violations found in these fields. Others such as some of the new fields were added just for something fun for our users. Yes, these changes will take some of the work load off our mods as well. Many would spend a lot of time reviewing user's profiles for violations and having to deal with those instead of reviewing posts as they should be mainly working on.

We fully understand while some of these changes may be popular that some others may not be. You do have the right to complain but these are the changes made and they won't be reversed at this point. We're very sorry if you are unhappy with these changes but we feel the benifits will out weigh hindering our user's creativity. This is something that the entire admin staff has been considering doing for some time now. If you are a member of our other sites, you will soon be seeing the same changes taking effect on them as well.

Yes, we will consider taking suggestions for the new drop down menu fields. More will probably be added as the game is developed as well. Keep in mind that we are looking for game or forum related topics to be added. All submissions will be considered by the admin staff and then decided on whether to be used or not.

Nice updates the only thing im a bit weary on is the location field... but i guess its best for the security of members! For any crazy stalkers thinking i lived on 1201 Main Street USA Orlando, FL well then you be crazy!

All those arent showing up in the profiles.

I applaud the changes. Worthwhile and meets the forum rules well.

They'll start showing up once people get a chance to add something to those profile fields. They'll need to go to Edit Your Details to do that.

I have filled all those fields out and they arent showing up. The location field has the name LOCATION but then right under it it jumps to whatever is next and i clearly have a location in my posts.

Ok, I see what's wrong with them. Give me a few minutes to fix the templet for profiles and they'll display properly. Thanks for pointing that out.

Nice update to the site! It looks safer than it was before.
One question though. Is there going to be a submission thread for locations like on TTC?

Yes. We'd like to get some user's input for the fields so they can have fun with them without feeling too restricted. I've been concentrating on making the changes to each site then I'll be adding the submission threads soon.
