Taskmaster question.

Was wondering for those who have played around with it, is there a big difference between three points to five points in Taskmaster? Currently I have 5 on each broadside, 1 in open fire, 1 in take cover, 1 in full sail, 5 in windcatcher, 5 in tacking and 3 in taskmaster which I like but was thinking of redoing it. Just thought I'd check. Thanks.

The effectiveness of the sailing passives seem to be questionable, as they seem to be easily tweaked by development as they make other changes.

Windcatcher which used to have an effect, appears to have little or no effect now based on various member tests, which may not be entirely accurate, but when 5-6 people all have the same result, its not likely they are all wrong.

Not needing the speed so much for NPC battles (assuming it DOES work) I still personally would prefer the benefits of Taskmaster as it should not only effect your sailing ability/reloads, etc, but should effect your crew using cannons as well. (provided it works as described)

I did seem to notice windcatcher might not be doing what it used to. I still like tacking though which does seem to work. Maybe I'll dump windcatcher, max out taskmaster and just put the remaining points somewhere else.

This brings up a good question is there a place that D has the description of all the skills and there functions. It is hard to make a good decision on where points go and can get expensive to retrain

There is no posted information on thier official site, the crewkit that is mailed out to all unlimited/paid members does have a pamphlet that describes them all, but not beyond the descriptions that you get in game.

The wiki has these defined (as described in the game also), you can find that information here: http://www.disneyonlineworlds.com/index.php/Sailing

Actually all the information about what amo/weapons/ship skills/skills do is in the players guide on the pirates site.
Go to http://apps.pirates.go.com/pirates/v...l&mode=pgByUrl and you can find taskmaster.
Most of the information(besides quests) wiki gets s straight from the pirates site.

Aahh... I stand corrected.

They should have made that easier to find, I searched for 20 minutes to answer this post, and couldnt find it.

Alot of the information in the Wiki is also taken directly from the game, which I assumed when I could not find the information you referenced.
They didnt list it where they discuss the skill points screen, etc. And I guess I just didnt look far enough on the "Adventures at Sea" link which doesnt elude to this information either!

I agree!
You can spend about 30 minutes digging through the players guide just to find what you want.
Wiki has everything from the players guide and information for most of the quests. I'd look on wiki instead of the site.(I always do)
Great place to find enemeis too.
