Have ya ever been yammerin away at a guild member or friend just to find out that they have been AFK while u were talkin? Most peeps tell ya when they are gonna be away from game but sumtimes you miss the chat. Maybe sum AFK button could be added so a pirate could warn others. Maybe show up as a symbol of sum sort beside their name on friend or guild list. Like the bright dot that shows peeps are on-line.. Good or bad idear??:bookishfj7:

thats a good ideal lizzy i have found myself telling a story and only after i cant get a reply find they are afk.
then they are ready and i type it all again.
that is hard on those of us that r typing challenged
(ie me) :blah:

Interesting Idea, however I believe Disney would have to work on thier "AFK" code a bit first.

I play my pirate with my mouse. I am constantly being asked how my pirate says AFK when im running, battling, healing, and having a great piratey ole time.

The problem is, that Disneys AFK code is strictly tuned to the arrow/direction keys. None of the other keys, nor the mouse will alert the game that the player/pirate is NOT afk.

Hit R for run all the time? and never a direction key? You'll go AFK after a few minutes..

me thinks it a great idear Lizzy.......got any more great idears in that pirate mind of urs?

I do have a slight problem with the guild lists. Namely should be similiar to friends list. You no...friends on-line are listed at top all togther. Guild members are spread out when they r on-line. A pirate has to go thru entire list to catch all guild members on site at same time. would make it easier if both lists could be alike in order to keep track of members onsite at same time as yourself...Good /bad idear?

Also if you click "Guild Options" then "Show Members" all of the online members are back at the top. This also happens when someone joins or leaves your guild. But this would be better off if it was like the friend list.....not having to click a button just to refresh the list.

lol welcome Lizzy. But still your idea to make it be like the friend list would be a lot better IMO.

I think thats a great idea. I do agree that yes they did come out with the AFK feature but its only good for people that can see you and since most guild chat is done across islands even servers the little [AFK] isnt any good for that.

Definatly send it in see what they say who know maybe when you go AFK in the chat it could say Chris has gone AFK. or something like that. and maybe have a little symbol thingy next to my name when i do go AFK.

Since Lizzy has so much to learn...just how does she send the idea to Big D?

you make a good point Chris a symbol or color change in friends or Guilds list would be great.

I think it's a great idea to add a afk button. I've had my fair share of afk players listen' to me ramble on and on.....without them actually listening! :laugh:

Well wasnt knocking the idea, I think its a good idea.

Just it wont work with thier current AFK code, because thier game doesnt properly identify AFK pirates as it stands right now. Perhaps if they made it something we turn on, instead of turns on automatically.

The thought of noone being able to communicate with me because the game thinks im AFK when im not really AFK bugs me. And it would happen alot, as the AFK code currently stands.

I have been talking with friends/guildmates in the ingame chat, and my pirate goes AFK while im typing... AFK? Im typing!!!
