reset pirate back to level 1

How about being able to reset your level 40 pirate back to level 1 and start over literately. I haven't hit 40 yet but I was think about how bored some of them must get now that I don't see too many 40's running around.

The way it would work is your reset and you are almost back to square one. you would keep all listed friends and guild you are in but would be a fresh start.

Hows this idea?

If this were a feature in the game I know I would never use it. With all the work it takes to getting to 40 I would hate to loose it and start over. I think thats the whole purpose of having the ability to have more than one pirate.

Interesting idea.
Being one that has full friends lists by the time I hit 40, I actually like starting with a clean friends list so I can just get the main friends on it.. and then accumulate others as I play. Being GM/Officer in my guild also makes it easy to re-guild any new pirate.

Might be useful for some though, especially if your stuck on your pirates name, and cant get Big D to approve it again.. hehe.

I agree.. for example, Toontown allows up to 6 toons!

At first I was like "Hey!", then I was like "Hey?", now I'm just "Hey."

Interesting idea, but after all that hard work, I don't want to start my big pirates over.

It was just an idea on my part.
My thinking is once you run out of quests and everything else it could be fun to restart having the same friends list as before. I know you can just make the new pirate and go through the pain of getting those on the friends list to meet you somewhere to add to friends list or in my case I just turn on the second computer and bring the new pirate along.

Nothing wrong with the idea, I just do not think many would make use of it.

I find that all my real friends are easily found/refriended. Most those long lost missing friends.. well they get deleted anyhow because my list is always full, and I meet new friends alot.

If your friends list is your priority then that would be an excellent feature.

What I think would be perhaps a better suggestion would be the option to copy the friends list from your previous pirate to your new one.

I would never reset my pirate! With the ability to relocate skill points, what is the need for it?
You can make four other pirates so you won't get bored.
