End of the World
 

Have ye ever sailed so far out on POTCO that ya reached the End-of the-World? Now bein that Lizzy isn't the bravest and most apt sailor who da thought this would happen to this pirate? The event was actually an quirk of fate, but I feels worth talkin about

Lizzy was sailin her War Galleon off PDF when she was impolitely booted from the site. Puter was actin a fool and it took many minutes b4 she could return to the site. Lizzy knew her Galleon would be sunk by this time and she would surely b in jail. But, Shiver me Timbers, upon returnin to site she landed on her Galleon all safe and cozy. The ship had not been sunk! As a matter of record...there was not another ship in sight. As Lizzy took the helm...Red words appeared in front of her face.."You Have SaileD To The Edge Of The World-Please Turn Your Ship Around". Me first thought was that I would go over the edge and join Jack Sparrow in the sands of nowhere with the stones that turn to crabs. But bein alone and with a compention to follow rooles(ummm) Lizzy quickly turned her Galleon around and headed back to PDF.

I've tried to tell this story on POTCO, but it always gets lost in the chatter.So a Blog says I to I! And no, Lizzy was not drinkin too much Rum...This did happen to her. Anyone else ever venture this far??:mat:

rofl......yeppers had it happen to me a few times when i was out from my knee injury......Red had to wake me up, wipe the drool from my mouth, and turn me boat around bc we (I) sailed us right off the map......so dont worry Lizzy, u not the only one who done it......

Yep - in fact the Floating Toug bug required that you went to the end of the world then do the walk glitch and keep going PAST your ship until the world turned black (then you were REALLY off the world LOL :D )

In fact, someone has the message here as their Sig - but it skips my mind as to who it is :)

EGADS Maximus...scarey! Thank my lucky stars I didn't disembark and start to walk. Weird and horrific thingeys can reach out from the dark side and poor Lizzy would have never been heard of again...HMMMM---wonder if that is a good or bad thing for those who listen to her constant yammerin? (grin) Rum's on me for a grateful return from the edge!

Yeppers..Zeppers! Puter began coughin and having spasms...but when I came back on site...didn't have to relog...I was on me ship

Back when randoms could hop your ship, I sailed to the end on purpose to bore the heck out of a griefer. Parked the boat, and sat...and sat...got a cup of coffee...made a few phone calls...bugger never left. So I left him on Tormenta and logged out. Good Times.

I had too much pride in SvS. So instead of taking it like a true pirate I ran my ship to world's end. Needless to say they were desperate and still followed and sunk me there.

that was too funny bart.....to me that would be a rude awaking.....rofl
