Can you complete the main quest on basic access?

and if you can't, then why?

Usually on a free mmorpg they let you complete the main quest but keep the other quests locked unless you are an unlimited access member..

No, you can't complete it with basic access. Why? Probably because it's the only story line for now, and if they let everyone go all the way through, then why pay at all?

Plus the main storyline takes quite a while to complete. Disney would be missing out on some bucks there. Also, since the notoriety & weapon levels are limited with basic access, you'd have a hard to completing the quest with the various mobs that need keel hauling.

I agree with Sarah and the other Sven, Disney is going to want some money out of their only story quest, and even if you could do it.....low lvl weapons would prove to be a problem in the future.

yeah true, thanks anyway, im just miffed about it thats all, i cant afford to get unlimited access, oh well i will just destroy more ships while i wait for some money lol

just keep in mind that it used to be worse for the limited players.
