where do i find the barrel of pitch?

Your journal should tell you. It should be in one of the forts. Either Fort Charles, Fort Dundee or Kingshead. What quest are you doing?

Its been a while since I did the pearl quest. Just try fort charles, search the barrels there, if not try fort dundee, then if that doesn't work try kingshead. But it should be in either fort charles or dundee. Good luck

If I remember correctly, this one isn't Fort Specific, so any will do.

Yep any Fort works. Just go to Padres, Kingshead, Charles.. whatever, run in, find a barrel to search (maybe beat up some navy while there..) and you got it.
