Well, at least they know a specific date. Of course, I think we all could expect this since they did say "Spring 2007" which ends in June 21st or something.

A few weeks? Ok, well guess they won't release it as the same time as the movie. Movie being released this Thursday. Gives them more time to work on the game. :)

Will this game really be ready in a few weeks? Wow!

I for one will be amazed if it is ready in a few weeks since I STILL can't get back on - and I had unlimited access - no made-up names - grrr :mad:

Start a new pirate. I am actually enjoying the new pirate I made and am going through the quests much quicker than before.

I also notice that my Nortority (that spell right?) level increases very quickly as I do the quests. It was much slower before.

I started a new pirate tonight, and after an hour of play I am at lvl 5 nortority already.

many of us cant even start a new pirate cause we crash before we are getting to teh creat a pirate screen. it loads then we get a micrsoft error when it tries to open teh screen that you make that select on. hopefully they will fix it soon, getting tired of sending bug reports. looking forward to launch day though

I started a new pirate today also, got to level 6, the game crashed, and now I cant play it :( lol

I will be completely amazed if the game is ready in a few weeks.

lol You're kidding? Well looks like an update is needed soon, if even new characters are crashing as well.

I see no conceivable way that could happen. :(

Unless they are holding back on us. Using us mainly for testing of the servers.


Saving content and polished game play for release. I know it's a reach but it's been done before. If I recall TT was in great shape months before release.

I guess I have a hard time imagining what the benefit would be for having betas test an old build. :confused: Especially if the are getting bug reports on bugs they already fixed! Seems like a poor decision to me.

Though I'm hoping that's the case. I can't wait to play the finished version!!! Does anyone know what the maximum notoriety level will be, or anything like that?

Hey it's The Year of a Million Dreams, it may happen :D

It's interesting though, I'm not getting any emails from them like I used to when I would submit a bug report.
