New Harkaway Ship???
 

I keep hearing rumors of a new ship called the Harkaway. I was wondering if anybody had any details. I know several GMs have made mention of it, but in tru GM style they are very vague.

No, never heard of it. Do you have any specifications at all?

Just that several GMs have mentioned to keep an eye out for it and also mentioned something about a treasure fleet. Of course they wouldn't give any more details.

I've heard the GMs talk about it, but never seen it. In fact, never even seen that GM who's supposed to be telling us about it, just heard it from the tavern takeover GMs.

the case is a typical of "the friend of a friend". they never say " i saw it and its coming".

What i heard from a Gm was the Harkaway ship, and Sir Victor at Port Royal docks. I still am betting its likely when we see this Sir Victor at the docks, he may be what kicks off this quest/ or deal with the Harkaway.

There used to be a ship called that i looked it up on google now i havnt heard from Gms or any other person but it is a cross between a big sloop and a frighte :piratear:

In a few of the meet the people/pirates events. POTCO's GM's visited various places and spoke in riddles of new events/features to come. The "Harkaway" ship was one of these riddled tidbits that was offered, however nothing has actually materialized from it. Its convenient to offer hints on stuff to come in riddles, they can take their time since no promises have been made, also allows them to change the outcome to fit/meet what they can provide when the time comes. We continue to wish for the best, hoping to see some of these "riddle me this" additions to the game.

Patience is not in a Pirates vocabulary...we all been waitin' for upgrades and features......it's 2009....come on with it Disney!

That would be awesome to have some more ships that would present more of a challenge to the game. Even the Behemoth isnt a challenge anymore! Or better yet add weather to the game. That would present more of a challenge to sail the seas with storms, hurricanes, etc. Once you get to notoriety level 40 there are no more challenges it seems which in turns the game is getting boring but I love being a pirate and I wish to continue so Disney needs to step up to the plate and give us more quests or more challenges!
