Kickball Or Dogdeball?
Today I played kickball in gym and as I was going down first... I was hit in the face and the ball knocked one of my lenses out of my glasses and under the bleachers. I am now half-way blind. It could have been worse though. I could have got a black eye. I love kickball but... it hurts. I am currently still without a good pair of glasses.

Doesn't matter to me. Im pretty good at both.

I now have replacement glasses. I will get new glasses in about a month.

Sorry to hear. One day during dodgeball I remebered hitting a kid in the face. His glasses broke and he got a bloody nose. Felt sorry but he was talking trash.

i have never played dodgeball as an adult, however the kids that i used to coach loved it. and it extremely fun to watch.

I don't like Dodgeball. Not at all. It hurts when I get hit, and I can't throw.
Kickball on the other hand, is difficult. I can't kick, and I get out a lot. |

Dodgeball is more fun when you're good at it, I'll say that much. I prefer it over kickball except when the coaches decide shirts vs. skins is easier than handing out those colored pennies to everyone. That is painful...plus all the girls are squishing their faces against the windows trying to watch us, which pretty much adds insult to injury.
But still Dodgeball>Kickball I have no interest in either soccer or baseball so kickball... even worse IMO. |

My school wouldn't let us play dodgeball. My class is already violent enough. :P I always get bruises from playing kickball; I always slide to the bases, getting bruises and dirt all over me. I got the annoying nickname 'Slider.' I haven't played kickball in a while yet some people still call me Slider. *sigh* |
I like playing both when I'm not out-classed. Guess it depends on where I am, who I'm with, and a whole lot of other things. Dodgeball is fun about 2 minutes into a game, where I get going if the game ain't so tough. I simply don't like sports where little points just don't add up to mount a whole lot of meaning, like basketball.
If I could, I'd probably play volleyball. After that, I'd fence. |
