Guide to re-assigning skill points
 

Looking to re-assign skill points and dont know how to do it? easy, follow these steps

Look for a trainer, they can be found near a blacksmith
Blacksmith can be found in the buildings that have a sword sign on them.
Look on Padres Del Fuego, Tortuga, or PortRoyal

When you find the Trainer then you can pick the weapon you wish to re-learn
example:
Retrain cutlass click on that, and something will saying how much it will cost.
The first time you wish to retrain a weapon it costs 250 gold, but it costs more everytime you retrain it

After you have paid for it, then go to the weapons menu, or press "K"
Then, go to the weapon you retrained, and all of your skill points will be ready to be re-assigned :)

the expenses of retraining; first time for each weapon 250, 2nd time 500, 3rd time i think its 2500, 4th time ts 10000. so be carefull with where you put the points

I thought it was the first time for all weapons is 250gold, and then after that all weapon retraining will be 2500gold.

When did they change it to the amounts you just stated above me?

Aye Jade- the first time you retrain a weapon it is 250 gold.
Example, you want to re-train cutlass for the 1st time, that costs 250 gold
you want to re-train dagger for the 1st time, that costs 250 gold and so on...
now the 2nd time you want to retrain anything, as indicated by bpg, it costs 2500 gold

lol i guess i was lucky because it only costed me 500 the 2nd time =p

(they might have made it more expensive i was playing late and it went under maintenance for like an hour so i waited and noticed the trainer and was like oh yay so i did that and immediately did it again cuz i was bored and the 2nd time it definately said 500 who knows)

The 3rd time costs 10,000.

i guess it depends on how many skill points you have with that weapon ( i was using my basic account when i moved them so yea only 5 points so who knows...)

Just noticed, it can only cost up to 10k. After 10k, the price doesn't go any steeper :)

Are these prices on TEST?

I have tested the first 3 levels of retraining on OPEN.

The following 3 tiers are ABSOLUTE AND VERIFIED

1st 250
2nd 2500
3rd 25000

Thats not fair if they are giving some pirates different cheaper prices.

Edit: OK I know those were accurate before. It appears they have adjusted it to 10K as the top as CadetAndrew stated. I tested the retraining the first week it was released, and it was 25k for the 3rd for sure then. Release notes do mention fixing a bug in the retraining, so perhaps thats what it was.
