Going back a level
 

Yesterday I was at level 5. This morning I am at Level 4. :mad:

Interesting. Maybe you'll be at level 6 tomorrow.

Use report-a-bug. I bet they'll get it fixed. And you're probably having problems because of the new patch that come out.

Hmm...I thought it was my imagination...but after reading this...

Yesterday (or the day before...) I was nearly level 6...then today I was barely a level 5. Odd indeed. Lots of bugs today...

It's the automatic response, but also the best one. Now if they don't get it fixed soon...then we start getting serious. ;)

by my math I should be at "lv - 6" by the time the movie is released. :eek:

Seriously: They should have it fixed shortly. I'm sure they have more serious problems to fix at this time.

The same thing happened to me, from level 9 to a level 8, right after the update.

I was just wondeing if maybe it wasnt a bug that set us back, but maybe a readjustment to the points needed to level up? I dont know.

On a slightly related sidenote, when I was trying to level up to 9 again, I noticed that I was not getting any points at all from the skeletons on Port Royal. Has anyone else noticed this? Is it just because they are so easy to kill? I did get points when I killed a flytrap on Tortuga, so its not just broken point meter.

You don't get anything by defeating a level 1 (unless, of course, you are a level 1). The higher up you get, the higher up you need to go. So if you're a 8, you won't get anything from a 1. So yes, it's because they're so easy.
