Gee, I'm posting a new thread!
 

First of all, I'd like to apologize for getting bored with playing Pirates every day and moving on to a more involved game. But I'll keep coming back for Wench night - kind of like how alumni return for homecoming games and reunions. You may not attend classes anymore, but you still are part of your old school.

Second, I'd like to say that between Pirates and WoW, I've been in 12 different guilds. The best by far is the War Wenches. It's head and shoulders, or maybe head and stilettos, above the other guilds. Nothing else compares to the camaraderie and the laughs and the pure fun we've had. I keep hoping I can find a guild like that in WoW, but so far, no luck. Everything pales in comparison. There's something about having those chat restrictions from Disney that make it more alluring and even funnier 'cause we have to be so creative in what we say. It's a challenge to be so naughty! But leave it to the Wenches to find a way.

In your honor, or in our honor, I drink a (large, generous) toast of rum. With dirt on the side.

Anyway i agree pirates isnt much of a challenge :) hope you dont go forever.

As far as any games I've ever played concerning general game play... POTC is definately the most pointless and non-challenging game but I still have a ball with it. I'm not sure if I'd like it nearly as much if it wasn't for the Wenches. We are definately a unique bunch of women with a few men in the mix.

I have always been a fan of Blizzard games... I absolutely love StarCraft and War Craft. I'll admit, I've thought about trying the demo of WOW, but I don't think I want to even do that to myself. The idea of having to buy a disc then pay a monthly subscription fee to play online... No, thanks! I'm sure I'm not the only person who has this opinion. Sure... ya only have to buy the cheapest one to actually play, but who's ever satisfied with that? Not me, so I'm saving myself money staying away from that game. :)

Some day Pirates will wear off... just as me playing MechWarrior 2, Quake, and StarCraft online did. It's all just a matter of time and I think everyone expects it - if they don't, they should.

I have to agree that the game puts me to sleep at times. I also have to agree that if it was not for the friendships that I have made here I probably would have drifted away a long time ago.

I have also talked to and paid attention to several other guilds here and one on WoW. I have to say it truly seems we do not have any drama compared to them at ALL. So for that I raise my glass to all of us!!!! (I have to wait until Andi gets here to have real rum)

I truly miss Misty and Lib in game though. But, it is good to know I can get into contact with Lib when I need/want to.
