Cutlass?

Definently cutlass. It seems to do more damage, and it's a lot more "piratey" than a dagger. So I voted cutlass, but the dagger has an advantage because you can use it to fight up close, like the dagger, or fight from far away. I still prefer the cutlass because I can just easily scroll down and whip out my double barrel pistol.

Dagger, its long a short range.

I prefer cutlass

The daggers only advantage really is throwing.

I like all the cutlass moves/animations (and sounds) far better. More fun :)

Uh when was the last time you threw a cutlass?

When Zep snuck into the captain's quarters and stole my rum while I was privateering.

I'd have to say cutlass for originality, style, and power.

Daggers may have more abbility to throw but i only use it for its passive skills and real pirates don't use daggers.

I prefer the cutlass over the dagger because as someone stated before it seems more the weapon of choice of a pirate. Sure you can throw a dagger, but after it's thrown you then have no weapon, unless you want to chance going and getting it back from a very angry assassin. :piratetongueor4:

I would deffintelly say cutlass, its more fun...and me dagger is weak :(

Personally, I prefer the cutlass. And when aboard a flagship amidst a pack of Naval Officers, nothing is as satisfying as a sweep, followed by four Navy goons thudding on the deck.

id say cutlass dagger is kinda weak and cutlass has much more power
